Business Development Manager, Major Component Exchange
Pearce Services
• Managing and overseeing sales and business development aspects of this fast-growing business, which provides field services for utility scale and IPP Wind farm owner/operators. • Identify potential customers and partners: Project Owners/Developers, EPC’s, OEM’s, O&M Providers, and other revenue opportunities within the US wind industry. • Qualify leads generated from existing contracts, Marketing campaigns, trade shows, and Senior Executive contacts. • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Senior Executive teams to identify potential customers and partners. • Work with the Wind services Leadership Team to negotiate final agreements including Contracts, MNDAs and MSA’s (Master Service Agreements) with potential customers and partners. • Develop innovative strategies to expand market presence. • Collaborate with industry organizations and stakeholders to increase Business Development Solutions. • Represent Pearce at trade shows, conferences, and industry organizations. • Perform project assessments, build financial quotes, and prepare customer facing proposals. • Finding Opportunities, Negotiate, contracts, proposals and create quotes.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years enterprise sales experience preferably within the Wind industry, or in the commercial, institutional, and/or industrial markets.
- 5+ years of field experience and/or leadership if no Degree. Operations experience is desired.
- Possess solid experience, contacts, and relationships within the Wind/Renewables industry.
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, and/or other industry-related field required; BA, BS, MBA a plus.
- Crane knowledge or Experience.
- Experience with and understanding of operations.
- Illustrate ability to communicate and lead conversations on all levels Internal and External – facing.
- Effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines.
- Adaptable and flexible to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and changes in priorities.
- Ability to adapt and comply with Company/Client requirements.

What you’ll bring: - The ability to successfully identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and donor prospects in the assigned area for all Buckner ministries and programs. - A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. - A minimum of 1 years of prior related experience is required in building and sustaining relationships with constituents engaged with an organization. - Requires 1 or more years of demonstrable experience in major gift work or church engagement work where relationships and/or individual efforts resulted in more than $500,000 of funds consistently on an annual basis. - Prior experience preparing and presenting project proposals and prefers candidates that have worked in collaborative environments or initiatives thereby demonstrating they are able to communicate, coordinate, and collaborate within various stakeholders to meet fundraising goals. - Strong sense of diplomacy and demonstrated success in developing strong collaborative relationships with organizational peers and outside colleagues. - Poven successful experience in identifying, cultivating, and sustaining relationships that lead to financial or other contributions to an organization. - Strong communication skills including but not limited to negotiation, influence and consensus building in order to interface with employees at all levels within the organization as well as external vendors and agencies.
