Field Software Engineer Location: Remote (with potential travel to deployment sites)Compensation: Competitive salary + bonus + equity (where applicable) About the RoleWe are building a next-generation maritime intelligence platform that transforms global fleets into a persistent sensing network. By combining edge computing, advanced sensors, and satellite connectivity, we operate in some of the most remote and challenging environments in the world—processing large-scale RF and visual data in real time to deliver critical insights. We are seeking a Field Software Engineer to take ownership of the configuration, activation, and ongoing reliability of distributed edge systems deployed in the field. This role sits at the intersection of software, hardware, and networking, ensuring that newly installed systems come online quickly and operate reliably at scale. You will act as the remote operator and technical backbone for deployed systems—bringing nodes online, troubleshooting issues in real time, and ensuring continuous performance across a global fleet. Military & Government Business Development Manager Location: Austin, Texas or Washington, DC (Remote considered for exceptional candidates) Compensation: $250,000 – $350,000 OTE The Mission An established aerospace manufacturer is expanding its presence across U.S. Military, Government, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across defense aviation markets. You will lead opportunities from initial engagement through contract award, combining relationship-driven business development with strong execution in government contracting environments. What You’ll Do - Identify and pursue opportunities across U.S. Military, Government, and FMS programs - Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities - Develop relationships with government agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractors - Lead RFQ/RFP responses and develop compliant proposals (FAR/DFARS) - Execute pricing strategies aligned with “price-to-win” methodologies - Partner cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams - Represent the organization at industry events and customer meetings - Track pipeline performance and forecast revenue What You Bring - 8+ years in aerospace, defense, or government contracting BD/sales - Proven success in quota-driven environments - Experience with MIL/GOV/FMS proposals and contract negotiations - Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS - Established network within defense, government, or aerospace markets - Ability to interpret technical requirements and statements of work Preferred - Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related) - Prior military experience - Familiarity with DCAA/DCMA environments Travel - Up to 25% Ideal Profile A relationship-driven business development professional with deep government market knowledge, strong proposal expertise, and a track record of winning complex programs in defense and aerospace.
