Senior Manager, New Equipment Field Ops Support
Otis Elevator Co.
• Provide field engineering support for field hardware & software issues on GeN2 & other Traction Products. • Provide technical engineering assistance for startup and adjusting issues on GeN2 & other Traction Products. • Drive GeN2 installation efficiency improvements. • Provide after installation product support. • Interface with OSC field engineering for similar product issues. (GCS-M & RMH controllers, door operators, drives, etc.) • Assist on field turn backs on GeN2 & other Traction Products and on resolution with the Florence factory. • Work closely with CLC engineering on design changes, and product upgrade instructions. • Work with new product development teams to develop documentation, training, & support for new and optimized equipment. • Point of contact for field personnel with code questions. • Work with software engineers to develop and implement new features.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years elevator field experience
- 5+ years managing construction / Mod installations
- GCS & E2 Controls experience
- Compass experience
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds of all levels and disciplines
- Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills
- Windows computer knowledge and document creation skills
- Project management / project lead experience
- Must be able to facilitate change
- Must possess a valid passport.
