Role Description Consistent with and supportive of CTU's mission (to provide industry-relevant higher education to a diverse student population through innovative technology and experienced faculty, enabling the pursuit of personal and professional goals), Adjunct Faculty members provide quality and innovative instruction and meaningful engagement with our students to successfully achieve the relevant course, program, and degree level outcomes and support their academic success. - Prepare relevant, insightful, and engaging instructional materials and utilize existing course materials that support learning by CTU's student population. - Provide instruction in assigned courses (including applicable laboratory or work that is integral to the courses) that aligns with CTU's curricula and outcomes, instructional modalities, course technologies, and faculty expectations. - Engage and communicate with students to encourage their course participation and learning while maintaining mutual respect and professionalism. - Relate professional/industry experience to CTU's Professional Learning Model by the continuation of professional/technical skills development, introduction of professional/industry perspectives into courses, and active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities. - Maintain accessibility for and provide timely responsiveness to students, academic/faculty leadership, and University staff by telephone, CTU e-mail, and other appropriate means of communication. - Establish and maintain weekly office hours for student questions/support. - Assess student performance on course assignments and provide assignment feedback to support continued student growth and development. - Maintain appropriate documentation of student course activities. - Work with appropriate CTU teams (e.g., advising, academic/faculty leadership, and University staff) and leverage appropriate information to identify and support students who may be exceptional or challenged in their coursework and/or educational endeavors. - Refer students to appropriate co-curricular and extra-curricular resources (e.g., advising, tutoring, library, learning centers, and career services). - Participate in and contribute to CTU's academic governance through attendance at appropriate University/college/program meetings and participation in the academic assessment and institutional effectiveness process (including completion of appropriate surveys and participation in continuous improvement initiatives). - Successfully complete required new faculty certification training, course-specific technology/pedagogical training, annual ethics and information technology policy training, and annual faculty development requirements. - Provide periodic required documentation of ongoing and updated licensures, certifications, immunizations (as appropriate to the specific college/program), scholarship, and academic/professional experience (e.g., CVs/resumes). - Work closely with Program Chair and/or Lead Faculty (as appropriate). - Perform other responsibilities and abide by the appropriate policies and procedures contained in CTU's Faculty Handbook. Qualifications - Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in meeting deadlines and urgency in responding to questions/requests. - Strong interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills. - Proficiency in working effectively, cooperatively, and flexibly in a team environment. - Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications (i.e., word processing, presentations, e-mail, calendaring, teleconferencing, text messaging, personal computers, and smart phones/tablets). Requirements - Master’s degree in Computer Science from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). - 5 years of professional experience. - Experience with Data structure in Python and Java. What You'll Do: Nursing Adjunct Faculty provide instruction that facilitates students’ achievement of course objectives while demonstrating Arizona College of Nursing’s values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence. Core Nursing: - Develops, implements, teaches, and evaluates the philosophy and objectives of the nursing education program. - Designs, implements, teaches, evaluates, and revises the curriculum. - Documents actions taken in faculty and committee meetings using a systematic plan of evaluation for total program review - Leads simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab. Didactic: - Responsible for teaching and evaluating students in the classroom. - Designs an effective learner environment that facilitates student learning to address contemporary issues in nursing. - Supports students’ progression in academics and socialization into the role of nursing. - Utilizes an array of assessment tools to evaluate student learning. - Actively participates in systematic plan for curriculum design, program evaluation and program revision. - Works with Course Lead Faculty to develop student success plans and remediate “at risk” students. - Performs other related duties as requested by the dean. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Graduate degree required, if the graduate degree is not in nursing must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)*. - A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care.Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university is preferred. - Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhance compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location. - Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty is preferred. - Maintains professional competence/expertise in teaching through activities such as nursing practice, continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, seminars, academic courses, research projects and professional writing. * Subject to state BON/BRN/HEB regulation(s) where the campus/student is located.

• Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including project management, writing, and compliance for RFI, RFQ, and RFP solicitations. Successfully lead multiple time-critical proposal teams through complex academic-year deadlines. • Strategic Opportunity Identification: Proactively search platforms for new solicitations and provide strategic input on bid/no-bid decisions based on competitive intelligence. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical experts, Sales, and Implementation specialists to translate complex concepts into value-focused narratives. • System Ownership: Maintain accurate records of all proposal activities, analyze win/loss data, and manage RFP platforms. Develop and maintain a repeatable proposal management system that effectively handles increased volume. • Internal Training: Educate internal teams on K-12 purchasing cycles and how districts evaluate technology solutions.
