Executive Director – Regional Academies
Acceleration Academies
• Lead strategic planning and execution to grow billable Graduation Candidate (GC) enrollment across assigned partnerships and regions • Hold Academy Directors accountable for partnership performance, ensuring alignment with revenue and operating budget goals • Ensure high-quality implementation of the Acceleration Academy model across all regional sites • Support academy teams in meeting or exceeding goals for GC engagement, course completions, credit-earned rate, and graduations • Build and sustain strong relationships with district stakeholders in collaboration with the AA go-to-market team • Oversee operational and academic practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Acceleration Academies standards • Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing leaders across academies, fostering strong leadership pipelines and team culture • Apply innovative practices to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of each academy within the region
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience: 7–10 years of K–12 educational leadership experience, preferably at the district level.
- Experience in the for-profit education industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, managing operations, and achieving academic and enrollment targets
- Ability to travel regularly within the region to maintain a strong on-the-ground presence
