Role Description We're hiring a Visual Creative Director (Fractional) to build the visual brand for a company with a massive total addressable market. The identity and system you create will be one of our most powerful growth levers, and it will get seen. We have positioning and research in motion, and we need you to turn that into a visual system that scales, ships, and sells. This is the rare chance to own the look and feel of a brand from the ground up while leaning into AI to move at the speed we need. Qualifications - Already experimenting with AI across multiple tools. - Senior-level visual and systems experience, with a portfolio to prove it. - Hands-on execution with tools like Figma, Adobe, and modern motion/graphics tools. - Experience with large, complex audiences. - AI-first in design. - Software/SaaS experience in high-growth environments. Requirements - Must have strong, use-case-based opinions on which AI tools work best right now. - Experience defining or evolving visual brands and design systems for complex, multi-audience products or companies. - Ability to create final or near-final deliverables personally. - Experience designing for software products or platforms. Benefits - Flexible Title: Can be tailored to reflect your skills & experience. - Flexible Time: Can do full-time, part-time, side-gig (off-hours), or fractional (contract). - Flexible Commitment: Can do short-term, long-term, or intermittent. - Opportunity for permanent jobs post-launch. - Open to equity components for the right long-term fractional fit. Company Description We're a credible, funded, remote-first startup led by a serial technical founder, backed by a 20-person team. The product is live in private alpha. We’re currently operating in stealth under an existing brand and will gradually evolve into a new public-facing identity as we validate the right direction. What You'll Do - Partner with brand and GTM marketers to align visual direction with positioning and messaging. - Define and document the visual brand, establishing identity elements and turning them into guidelines and asset libraries. - Own social visual presence by designing and maintaining on-brand social profile treatments. - Create campaign-ready ad graphics for paid and organic campaigns. - Create go-to-market assets and templates for various initiatives. - Shape website experience and inform product UI. - Lead with AI in your design workflow using AI-native tools. - Standardize product prototyping with devs to ensure brand consistency. What We're Looking For - UI/UX design depth is a plus. - Motion and graphics background is a plus. - Experience working in fractional/consulting models. What This Role Is Not - Not a “learn AI on the job” role. - Not a full-time, in-house creative director role. - Not a copy/messaging lead role. - Not a pure “brand strategy only” or advisory engagement. - Not a slow, multi-month, workshop-heavy rebrand.
