Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison

• The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with key HCP partners and influential individuals within Hematology/Oncology, through strategic collaborations and marketing initiatives. • Key duties include researching potential KOLs in both Academic and Community settings, developing engagement strategies, negotiating partnership terms, tracking campaign performance, and maintaining ongoing communication with key influencers. • KOL Identification and Recruitment: Contribute to the development of engagement strategy for the assigned region; and execute to optimize results. Research and identify relevant Key Opinion Leaders within the target market based on their audience reach, credibility, and alignment with brand values. Conduct thorough evaluations to ensure KOL suitability for collaborations. Initiate contact with potential KOLs and pitch partnership opportunities. • Relationship Building and Management: Establish strong, authentic relationships with KOLs through regular communication and engagement. Understand KOLs' specific needs, interests, and audience demographics to tailor collaboration strategies. Provide KOLs with necessary information, demo samples, or materials to facilitate effective content evaluation and/or creation. Collaborate with Sales to fortify HCP relationship with PharmaEssentia. • Commercial Insight Gathering: Lead and direct insight gathering among opinion leaders including one-on-one engagements, small group meetings, national and regional advisory boards, and steering committees to gather actionable information, coordinating with other functions. Monitor the competitive landscape, treatment protocols and other market trends, report findings to marketing, provide actionable recommendations and pull through tactical initiatives. • Collaboration Across Marketing Team: Support and manage commercial advisory boards / steering committees, develop targeted P2P marketing material/messaging aligned with brand objectives, review P2P content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging, provide input for Speaker Bureau development, training, etc. Lead KOL engagement at key congress meetings, manage KOLs for internal meetings and external events. • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversions, and brand mentions across P2P campaigns. Monitor campaign progress and adjust as needed to optimize results. Analyze campaign data to identify successes and areas for improvement, generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent required preferably in Marketing, Science, Business Administration or other similar degree; an MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing experience
- Hematology/Oncology experience is required
- Strong scientific acumen and business acumen, with the ability to use knowledge of the industry and marketplace to identify long-term benefits for our customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with KOLs
- Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and identify trends
- Creative thinking to develop engaging P2P collaboration concepts
- Knowledge of industry trends and target audience demographics
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Leads through influence and with impact across teams.
- Self-starter. Takes initiative and works independently to successfully work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
- Strong strategic and tactical planning, project management, communication, and organization skills.
- Understanding of compliance environment in pharmaceutical promotions.
- Flexibility to travel 50-70% of the time, occasional evenings and weekends. The role requires candidate to live near a major airport.

Role Description We are seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to serve as the primary strategic finance partner to the President in a manufacturing and distribution organization. This role will act as the analytical and financial operating leader of the business, translating financial and operational data into insights that drive decision-making, profitability improvement, and long-term strategy. The VP of Accounting owns accounting operations including financial close, balance sheet integrity, and cash flow management. This role complements that function by focusing on forward-looking financial planning, operational performance analysis, and strategic financial leadership. This individual will help build the financial infrastructure needed to support growth, improve operational discipline, and prepare the company for a future ERP implementation and financial transformation. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and accounting fundamentals with deep cost accounting knowledge, operational curiosity, manufacturing experience, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from imperfect systems. This position reports directly to the President and plays a central role in the leadership team’s decision-making process.
