Position description: - Responsible for investigation, analysis and resolution of claims and demands made by attorneys representing consumers in the area of consumer litigation including lemon law, product liability and subrogation claims nationwide. - Work on legal research projects involving warranty and automotive law questions. - Retain and collaborate with the outside counsel for handling of consumer lawsuits. - Manage, support and work on strategy of lawsuits filed by consumer attorneys. - Work with and advise consumer affairs case managers on the best case handling and resolution. - Attend mediations, arbitrations and trials along with outside counsel. - Manage claims and lawsuits in the most cost-effective and efficient way. - Provide counseling and training to the different departments, dealerships and business units, as needed. Qualifications: - Passed CA bar exam - 3+ years of litigation experience desired - Prior consumer litigation or lemon law experience is a plus Pay: 50/hr - $85/hr
