• Administer and maintain enterprise database environments, including SQL and Oracle platforms, supporting operational systems across the OSDSS environment. • Support efforts to standardize and unify data processes across ServiceNow (SNOW), ITMS, and other enterprise systems. • Manage database performance, tuning, and optimization to ensure reliable system performance and availability. • Assist with data integration, synchronization, and validation across multiple disparate systems. • Monitor database environments for performance issues, capacity constraints, and data integrity concerns. • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for critical databases. • Support database patching, upgrades, and configuration management activities. • Work with development and engineering teams to support data migrations, schema updates, and application integration requirements. • Assist with data mapping, transformation, and validation activities required to consolidate information across systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, query inefficiencies, and connectivity problems. • Maintain and update database documentation, data dictionaries, and operational procedures. • Ensure compliance with security, access control, and data governance policies.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience administering enterprise relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Strong experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting data integration across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Experience managing database security, permissions, and access controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, developers, and system administrators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
