Work from anywhere. - A monthly flexible benefits budget, in addition to your salary. - PTO and paid U.S. holidays 💼 Responsibilities: - Manage calendars and calls, save and organize documents, and handle DocuSign workflows to support daily legal operations. - Maintain and update account credentials, passwords, and access lists, ensuring accuracy and security across systems. - Coordinate with IT on employee setup, distribution group emails, litigation notifications, and onboarding for new hires. - Prepare and manage new client engagement letters, set up client files in legal and collaboration systems, and support internal reporting such as weekly and monthly hours tracking. - Draft offer letters, assist with job postings, circulate firm-wide communications, and support ongoing administrative needs across legal teams. 💡 Qualifications: - Prior experience in an administrative or legal administrative role within a law firm or legal environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using document management or legal systems such as iManage, CLIO, SharePoint, Notion, or similar platforms. - Experience managing calendars, documents, electronic signatures, and internal communications. - Ability to coordinate with IT teams on system access, onboarding, and technical setup. - Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. 📩 If you meet the experience outlined above, we’d love to hear from you. Job Summary Performs legal and secretarial tasks for assigned attorney(s), with supervision and oversight from their leader. Role Description The Registrar of Contractors (ROC) Legal Department oversees roughly 1200 legal actions per year throughout the State of Arizona. This fast-paced unit processes cases for the Office of Administrative Hearings, public records requests, felony background checks on license applicants, requests for payout from the Recovery Fund, and provides legal guidance to all ROC departments. The Legal Department work is diverse, interesting and important to the mission of the agency. This critical position is part of the legal team and reports to a Paralegal Manager. Job Duties: - Draft routine legal documents such as Citations, Orders, document requests, letters, etc. - Communicate with customers (complainants, respondents, and legal counsel) orally and in writing to provide information and assistance with Legal and Recovery Fund Department procedures. - Review and respond appropriately to documents received from parties or other agencies. - Conduct reviews of Recovery Fund claims, determine awards, and testify in administrative hearings while represented by the Arizona Attorney General's Office. - Review criminal records of license applicants. - Assist with projects assigned by Legal Department Leadership.
