Minute Media

About Us The FanSided network, part of the Minute Media family, features more than 300 websites covering a variety of sports, entertainment and lifestyle topics. Launched in 2007, FanSided is one of the industry’s fastest-growing digital content networks and includes sites dedicated to every major professional sports team, all of the nation’s top college athletic programs, popular TV shows, movies and other celebrated sports, culture, tech and entertainment categories. Minute Media is looking for a passionate, sports-obsessed Podcast Video Producer to join our team. This role lives at the intersection of editorial judgement, ideation, platform strategy, and production execution. You will own the production and packaging of video podcast series, from planning to publishing. You will help shape concepts and topics, prep hosts, manage guests, and oversee the entire post production workflow. We are looking for a creative leader who knows how to build a "must-watch" sports brand in a crowded digital landscape. While you are a talented video editor; you also understand how to package a 45-minute conversation into viral soundbites across digital platforms. From thumbnails to audience development, you have a multi-faceted skillset for content creation. What You'll Do: - Show Development & Ideation: Lead the creative direction and structural flow of every episode. You are responsible for show concepts, segment hooks, and ensuring the content is "appointment viewing" for sports fans. - Editorial & Guest Strategy: Manage the guest pipeline and booking strategy. You will research guests, prep hosts with detailed briefs, and ensure every conversation is framed for maximum impact. - Executive Production: Own the show schedule and production calendar. You ensure the train runs on time—from the initial brainstorm to the final social clip distribution. - Host Management: Act as the primary editorial voice for our talent, providing direction during recordings to ensure the "gold" soundbites are captured. - Packaging & Growth Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end "packaging" of the show. This includes directing the visual brand, thumbnail A/B testing, and SEO-driven titling to dominate the YouTube and Social algorithms. - The Full Lifecycle: Lead the technical workflow of recording, streaming, and publishing. You oversee the "master edit" to ensure it meets FanSided’s high bar for quality and pacing. - Social Engine Mastery: Drive the short-form strategy. You will identify and oversee the creation of "high-retention" vertical clips (Shorts/Reels/TikToks) designed to trend and drive traffic back to the main show. - Technical Oversight: You have the technical chops to troubleshoot recording issues, manage file workflows, and step into the edit. Where You'll Be: This is a full-time remote position. The expected pay range for this position is between $65,000-$75,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include a flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan. Requirements What You Have: - 3-5 Years of Experience: You have a deep portfolio of digital video work, specifically in the podcasting and social media space. - Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects) - Platform Fluency: A Strong Understanding of the different video/social platforms and how best to use them. - Sports Literacy: You aren't just a casual fan. You understand the trades, the drama, and the technical side of the game. Bonus: - On-camera or hosting experience. - Interest in sports betting, fantasy sports, or digital sports communities. - Experience working with creators, influencers, or digital-first brands.
