Why You'll Love This Role Cribl is expanding its Data Governance function, and we’re looking for a Sr. Data Enablement Specialist to help empower hundreds of Criblanians to make confident, data-driven decisions every day. This is a high-impact role: You won’t just be answering "how-to" questions; you will design certification programs, documentation standards, and workflows that allow our teams to move fast without compromising the source of truth. This role reports to the Data Enablement Manager within our centralized Data function. As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will… - Be the “curator” of our BI tool, Omni. You’ll audit user-created content, identify rogue calculations and queries that need to be centralized, and manage the promotion of workbooks into official, verified dashboards. - Ensure Omni’s AI features are highly performant by partnering with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to enrich the semantic layer with the necessary context and metadata required for accurate natural language querying. - Leverage and implement AI-driven workflows that boost team productivity, such as using LLMs to automate documentation drafts, audit content usage patterns, or triage incoming support requests. - Spearhead Data Community efforts, such as office hours, newsletters, and Slack-based support. - Build and scale educational resources, such as recorded tutorials, workshops, and self-paced learning paths. - Act as a “voice of the user” for the Data team, helping Analysts and Engineers understand where Omni topics are confusing or where new self-service data models are needed. - Bridge the gap between raw data and business reality by maintaining high-quality metadata and documentation that helps all users understand the data they are using. If You’ve Got It - We Want It - 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and/or Data Enablement. - Proficiency in SQL and modern BI tools with semantic layer (e.g., Omni, Looker) - Comfort experimenting with AI to automate routine tasks and familiarity with optimizing AI performance through metadata - Strong track record of partnering with technical and business teams to translate needs, documenting shared definitions, enforcing data standards, and collaborating effectively to achieve goals - Excels in collaborative environments, engaging effectively with peers and stakeholders to achieve goals and actively participate in meetings. - Strong communication and organizational abilities, capable of leading strategic projects with minimal guidance and managing priorities effectively. - Possesses a proactive and high degree of ownership, astutely identifying opportunities for improvement, driving new processes, and rallying the team to solutionize problems together. Salary Range ($115,000 - $155,000) The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
