PDS Sourcing & Procurement Lead - What this job involves The Project and Development Services (PDS) Sourcing & Procurement Lead will lead, manage and direct the strategic sourcing and vendor management processes for PDS to achieve company, business, account, and client goals, including project assessment, strategy development, supplier evaluation and negotiation of terms to meet quality, cost, performance, and supplier diversity targets. This individual will lead the Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) PDS teams to develop sourcing strategies, supplier communications, request for proposals (and related due diligence), cost analytics, category strategies, supply market analysis, deal strategy, pricing strategy, deal negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.), contract development, and contract administration. The Sourcing Lead will oversee the S&P sourcing teams and will be accountable for effectively managing, mentoring, and developing a team of world-class S&P associates. The Sourcing Lead will be a key stakeholder and decision-maker for S&P projects. Responsibilities: - Lead, develop, and/or execute on strategy for direct oversight of Sourcing & Procurement (sourcing, contract, risk management, and vendor management) functions. - Provide superior client service through providing objective recommendations. - Provide strategic vision for all Sourcing and Procurement aspects of the PDS business including best practices and innovation. - Drive the use of the PDS preferred supplier program (Synergy) to drive value to Project Managers, Accounts, Clients, and our Synergy supplier partners - Identify risks and opportunities to management and recommend strategies to achieve company goals. - Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance. - Responsible for Business Intelligence spend analysis to identify sourcing and value creation opportunities. - Effectively manage supplier(s) to ensure overall performance expectations are met across the region and associated accounts. - Continually manage/assess suppliers through scorecards. - Own sourcing compliance and controls across PDS. Identify and develop opportunities for improvement. - Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business. - Establish and maintain relationships within Americas’ Leadership across all business lines. - Comply with all JLL and client policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice. People Management - Work closely with HR to track internal and external bench, assess needs and fit, and manage HR requests such as IPMP, Talent Review, Promotions, and other corporate talent development initiatives. - Provide superior employee management in a matrixed organization. - Establish defined Career Paths for teams, and succession and growth planning concepts. RESPONSIBILITIES - Grow and maintain the Babies & Kids and Pet categories to meet expansion goals, including revenue, margin, and other KPIs, while balancing Thrive Market’s ingredient, safety, and quality standards. - Drive category strategy and innovation by delivering a best-in-class shopping experience for families and pet owners, staying ahead of emerging trends, customer needs, and product innovation. - Identify, seek out, and cultivate strong vendor relationships with both established and emerging brands.
