About This Role: At Kidde Global Solutions Commercial Fire Business Unit, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Project Manager. Purpose: In the role of Project Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally with our Field Service, Applications and Sales Operations teams focused on supporting our installation partners to ensure all aspects of the project remain on schedule and within budget. (updates job progress and task list items in CRM tool (Salesforce, Mission Control, etc.) - Prepare status reports for client(s) - Implements installation, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. - Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change. - Oversee the project schedule to ensure alignment with project milestones, addressing variances and coordinating corrective actions Basic Qualifications: - HS Diploma or equivalent - Proven track record of 2–3 years managing construction-related projects from planning through completion - Willingness to travel: (50% travel to installation sites.) Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, or related field - PMP, CAPM, or other relevant Project Management certification(s) - Proficient with spreadsheet software and project management software - Project Management experience in the fire or security industry - Commercial building systems experience - Self-starter motivated to expand skill set and grow experience - Effective organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills - Skilled in interpreting and analyzing construction blueprints and technical drawings - Proficient in using Bluebeam Revu for PDF editing, markup, and collaboration on construction documents Compensation and Benefits Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
