Summer Internship- Salesforce Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator Intern to support our CRM operations and contribute to the optimization of our Salesforce platform. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing a business-critical system used across various departments. The intern will work closely with experienced Salesforce professionals and cross-functional teams to assist in data quality initiatives, reporting, basic configuration tasks and help in improving overall Org health. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a foundational understanding of Salesforce, and is passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science and looking to build a career in CRM administration/analysis. Primary Duties - Assist in the day-to-day administration and support of the Salesforce platform, including user account management, permissions, and roles. - Help maintain data integrity by performing regular data cleansing, deduplication, and validation activities. - Work on reviewing the backlog items and coordinate with Scrum leader and business to update all the functional and technical acceptance criteria - Assist with the setup and configuration of standard and custom Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types. Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. - Basic understanding of Salesforce CRM functionality, either through coursework, personal study, or previous internship experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools. - Eagerness to learn Salesforce administration best practices and platform capabilities. Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities - Gain hands-on experience in web analytics and data interpretation. - Collaborate on cross-department projects involving web technologies. - Develop skills in data-driven decision-making. - Enhance understanding of IT processes in a healthcare technology context.
