Job Description

Sales Development Representative

Imubit

TL;DR We’re seeking an elite Sales Development Representative who can command the room, own complexity, and drive enterprise-scale transformation in capital-intensive, multi-stakeholder environments. These are multi-year, multi-million-dollar digital transformation deals requiring navigation of operations, digital, and financial domains. You will master Imubit’s AI optimization platform, build champions across departments, and orchestrate internal and partner teams toward one hard-won decision — embedding AI into the operating nervous system of the world’s most advanced plants. If you thrive in high-complexity, high-impact enterprise environments — across Refining (incl. Aromatics & Biofuels), Petrochemicals & Polymers, and LNG & Gas Processing — this role is your next big move. You’re not selling software; you’re selling transformation at the intersection of process, data, and economics. This role requires travel to client sites around the US. This role is open to remote candidates, but is preferred to be located in Dallas, TX. About us: Imubit is redefining how industrial companies around the world adopt and scale enterprise AI, adding millions of dollars to plant bottom lines while operating safely within constraints related to energy efficiency and sustainability. Our AI platform supports real-time optimization across complex, nonlinear industrial systems, enabling both autonomous and guided decision-making in live production environments. Fortune 500 companies rely on Imubit to continuously improve profitability and sustainability across their most valuable assets. Backed by Insight Partners, Imubit brings together deep domain expertise from companies such as Exxon and Shell with leading AI talent from Google and other top innovators. With teams across the United States and a growing international presence, Imubit is transforming operational optimization across industries ranging from refining and aromatics to polymers and LNG liquefaction. We are looking for: You, a high-performance Sales Development Representative who will serve as the frontline engine supporting Imubit’s North America revenue team. You will qualify inbound demand, run crisp discovery to validate fit, and execute targeted outbound motions to create pipeline within hydrocarbon refining, petrochemicals and polymers, and LNG and gas processing. You combine precision with persistence; you thrive in a fast-moving environment; you are obsessive about clarity, CRM hygiene, and driving measurable outcomes. You will shape first impressions of Imubit for new prospects and ensure every inbound and outbound motion is rooted in curiosity, value creation, and disciplined qualification. Your targets will directly tie to meetings booked, qualified pipeline generated, and the overall performance of the NAM sales team. In this position, you will: - Inbound Lead Qualification and Discovery • Rapidly respond to inbound leads and execute structured discovery to identify pain, priority, persona, and potential fit. • Qualify opportunities using a standardized framework aligned to MEDDPICC entry criteria. • Convert inbound inquiries into scheduled introductory meetings for the appropriate AE with clean, accurate notes and next steps. - Outbound Prospecting and Pipeline Creation • Build and maintain targeted outbound lists across Refining, Petrochemicals and Polymers, and LNG. • Execute multi-channel outbound sequences: email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry event outreach. • Run account-based research to tailor outbound messaging to role, asset type, and value levers. • Partner with AEs to identify whitespace and accelerate penetration in named accounts and territories. - Collaboration with the North America Sales Team • Align closely with the NAM AEs on territory plans, ideal customer profiles, and weekly pipeline priorities. • Participate in deal strategy discussions to understand value drivers and refine qualification criteria. • Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, campaign performance, and personas reached. - CRM and Operational Rigor • Maintain accurate lead, contact, activity, and meeting data within Salesforce. • Track conversion rates, outreach performance, and quality metrics. • Uphold disciplined execution standards, including weekly goals tied to meetings booked and qualified pipeline created. Character Traits and Execution Standards: - Curiosity: Asks thoughtful questions and seeks to understand systems, operations, and personas deeply. - Drive: Highly motivated by measurable outcomes, clear targets, and competitive environments. - Coachability: Incorporates feedback quickly and elevates performance week over week. - Rigor: Executes with discipline in activity tracking, qualification, and follow-through. - Professionalism: Represents Imubit with credibility and clarity across all prospect interactions. - Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets tied to meetings booked and qualified pipeline created. - Uphold CRM accuracy and clean handoff processes to AEs. - Continuously refine outbound messaging based on data, persona insights, and AE feedback. - Demonstrate alignment and accountability to the broader NAM performance objectives. Must have qualifications and experience: - BA/BS degree preferred. - Technical fields, engineering, business, or analytics a plus - 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation. - Experience selling into industrial, energy, process manufacturing, or technical B2B environments preferred. - Strong research capability and ability to craft tailored outbound messaging. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), sequencing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and pipeline reporting. - Familiarity with structured qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN, BANT). - Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts at a high level. - Exposure to energy, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, AI, or SaaS solutions is a plus. - Ability to travel 10-20% Skills and Abilities: - Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident on the phone and in email outreach. - Ability to synthesize technical and economic concepts into simple, prospect-friendly framing. - High attention to detail in qualification, documentation, and handoff execution. - Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. - Proven collaborator who works well with AEs, marketing, sales operations, and leadership. Imubit provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Imubit complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
