Position Overview Archera is looking for a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our platform and prospective customers and partners. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Partner, and Cloud Alliance teams to guide technical discovery, demonstrate the value of Archera’s platform, and support customers evaluating Insured Commitments. You will lead technical conversations with engineering, FinOps, and finance stakeholders, helping them understand how Archera integrates with their cloud environment and improves the economics of their cloud commitments. The role spans pre-sales and early post-sales engagement for transactional accounts, supporting discovery, demos, onboarding, and helping customers reach first value quickly. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the technical subject matter expert in customer engagements, leading discovery, architecture discussions, and solution design - Create and deliver technical demos, product walkthroughs, and savings analysis sessions for customers and partners - Translate customer infrastructure and cloud usage patterns into tailored Archera platform solutions and clear savings narratives - Support proof-of-concept engagements and guide customers through onboarding and activation of their first insured commitments - Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Partner, and Alliance teams to move deals forward and support repeat demo and enablement requests - Relay customer feedback, product insights, and common objections to Product and Engineering teams Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or similar customer-facing technical role - Hands-on experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in a technical or architectural context - Azure Solutions Architect certification required; AWS or GCP certifications are a plus - Familiarity with APIs, modern cloud architectures, and common system design patterns - Familiarity around cloud economics and FinOps concepts such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and commitment-based pricing models - Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders - Customer-focused mindset with strong curiosity and a drive to continuously learn and improve Benefits - Competitive salary and equity package - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) plan - Flexible PTO policy - Remote-first culture - Opportunity to shape and scale a category-defining FinTech platform
