Technical Recruiter – Developer Background

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical positions • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders to define role requirements • Source and engage candidates using direct search, social platforms, job boards, and referrals • Screen candidates for both technical and cultural fit using your IT knowledge to assess qualifications • Conduct interviews and coordinate technical assessments when needed • Perform reference checks and manage background verification processes • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment progress • Draft job descriptions and advertisements; manage posting on relevant platforms • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tech talent for current and future roles • Work closely with the HR team on onboarding and hiring logistics
Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a developer or in a technical IT role
- 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment in the IT sector
- Strong knowledge of IT terminology, including key concepts in software development and infrastructure.
- Understanding of technical roles across the stack: Backend, Frontend, Mobile (iOS, Android), Deployments / DevOps, QA / SDET, etc…
- Capacity to grasp the specifics of roles and technologies at a general level to evaluate candidate fit.
- Strong understanding of software development roles, stacks, and terminology
- Experience with direct search and sourcing techniques
- Proven success in full-cycle recruitment
- Ability to review and select resumes for various tech positions with precision
- Excellent sourcing and research skills, particularly for hard-to-fill roles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Source, screen, and submit qualified candidates for C2C roles using various sourcing platforms (Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, etc.) • Utilize advanced Boolean search techniques and other sourcing tools to find the right candidates. • Leverage an existing strong vendor/implementation partner network to quickly fill open roles. • Thoroughly vet candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and verifying documents. • Identify and reject fake resumes and forged visa documents effectively. • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of consultants and consistently meet submission goals. • Maintain relationships with candidates and vendors for ongoing requirements. • Collaborate with account managers to understand job requirements, deliverables, and client expectations. • Manage multiple roles simultaneously and perform under tight deadlines.
