Lead Human Factors Engineer
RESPEC
• Ensure OCI’s digital solutions are designed for the 'human in the loop' • Conduct performance assessments using simulation • Establish usability metrics and recommend design enhancements for clinical tools • Analyze policy and aggregate process performance to identify latent issues • Promote HCD methods and practices across the VA
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in HFE or related field
- 10 years in HFE research and application
- Mastery of HFE methods, usability studies, and statistical analysis
- Thorough understanding of NIST and ISO standards for healthcare usability
- Expertise in organizational psychology and cognitive load theory
