Senior Project Manager
Saffire, LLC
• On-site monitor and manage progress of design team, construction team, and third party consultants throughout the duration of the project • Prepare RFPs and manage procurement of necessary contractors and consultants • Assemble reliable project budgets and monitor adherence by all parties to the agreed budgets regarding the above described responsibilities with regular updates. • Assemble and monitor adherence to the agreed project schedule, and advise of recovery measures as may be required. • Management of the design & construction budgets including value engineering process • Report on quality of the work and manage resolution of all non-compliance items. • Management of invoices and payment applications with accounting • Assist in obtaining all permits, inspections and approvals. • Assist in maintaining current project files • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and reporting to owner • Assist turnover of the project to the client, and closeout of all assigned project contracts and accounts. • Management of and assisting in training and mentoring of junior staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience as project engineer, project manager or construction administration representative for a major design, construction or program management firm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, quickly establishing credibility with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with technology including MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), Procore, and MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Ability to multi-task, and produce all deliverables in a timely manner.
- This position may require heavy travel or relocation to project site
- Applicant must have the ability to work effectively on the road and in fast-paced jobsite environments.
- Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours due to the accelerated nature of the projects.
