Catastrophe Risk Analyst

• Evaluate complex datasets to identify patterns and trends associated with catastrophe risks • Develop and refine catastrophe models to estimate potential losses from various disaster scenarios • Generate detailed reports that communicate risk assessments to stakeholders • Work closely with underwriters and actuaries to integrate risk analysis into policy pricing and portfolio management • Stay ahead of the latest developments in climate science, construction technology, and regulatory changes that may affect risk profiles • Assist in the creation of risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial impact • Utilize advanced software and technologies to improve the accuracy of risk predictions • Contribute to the development of emergency response plans for catastrophic events
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or Business
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience
- Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst (CCRA) or similar is preferred
