IP Research Manager
RWS Group
• Assist in product recommendations by providing insights and technical expertise. • Create, launch, and manage RWS studies within AOP Connect, ensuring alignment with client expectations and study objectives. • Review and assess the accuracy and relevance of researcher-submitted responses, providing feedback and guidance as needed. • Present study findings to clients in a clear and professional manner during client status calls. • Provide technical guidance and support to researchers, leveraging your expertise in patents and related technical fields. • Oversee the closure of studies, including the preparation of final reports and the administration of researcher rewards. • Collaborate closely with other study managers and researchers to ensure the successful execution of research projects. • Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree with expertise in electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications.
- Law degree with 7+ years of experience in patent law, including experience in patent search and/or patent examination.
- Preferably a former patent examiner.
- Strong experience in patent searches and the ability to review various patents and technical/scientific literature.
- Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to work productively and efficiently with other team members, including study managers and researchers.
