Role Description MasterControl is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager – Data Platform to drive the evolution of our enterprise data platform. This role is responsible for defining product direction and execution for data capabilities that power analytics, reporting, integrations, and data-driven features across the MasterControl platform. This is a hands-on technical product leadership role for someone who is technically fluent in modern data systems and comfortable partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable data infrastructure. Responsibilities - Own the product roadmap and execution for core data platform capabilities. - Partner with data and application engineering teams to design and deliver scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines. - Drive platform patterns that support batch and streaming data processing and high-quality, reliable data. - Ensure data is modeled and stored to support analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption. - Enable data access via APIs, connectors, and integrations for internal and external consumers. - Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to ensure the platform supports dashboards and insights. - Translate technical concepts into clear product requirements, priorities, and delivery plans. - Balance delivery speed with long-term platform health and scalability. Qualifications - 7–10 years of experience in technical product management or data platform–focused roles. - Strong understanding of modern data platform concepts, including data pipelines, transformations, and data warehousing. - Familiarity with streaming and event-driven architectures and tools such as Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Flink, or similar technologies. - Solid foundation in data modeling and traditional relational database systems. - Experience designing systems that make data consumable via APIs, integrations, or reporting tools. - Proven ability to work effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong product judgment and the ability to make informed tradeoffs across scope, performance, and time-to-market. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements - Experience supporting BI or analytics platforms (e.g., Sisense). - Background in enterprise SaaS or regulated industries (Life Sciences a plus). - Experience working on multi-tenant or highly scalable platforms. Physical Demands and Working Conditions - Primarily sedentary work with frequent use of computer, keyboard, and mouse. - Occasional lifting or moving of computer equipment or other objects up to 25 pounds may be required. - Standard office environment with potential for remote work. Job Requirements
