Senior Technical Product Manager – Data Platform

MasterControl Japan

• Own the product roadmap and execution for core data platform capabilities. • Partner with data and application engineering teams to design and deliver scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines. • Drive platform patterns that support batch and streaming data processing and high-quality, reliable data. • Ensure data is modeled and stored to support analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption. • Enable data access via APIs, connectors, and integrations for internal and external consumers. • Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to ensure the platform supports dashboards and insights. • Translate technical concepts into clear product requirements, priorities, and delivery plans. • Balance delivery speed with long-term platform health and scalability.

Job Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in technical product management or data platform–focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platform concepts, including data pipelines, transformations, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with streaming and event-driven architectures and tools such as Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Flink, or similar technologies.
  • Solid foundation in data modeling and traditional relational database systems.
  • Experience designing systems that make data consumable via APIs, integrations, or reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to make informed tradeoffs across scope, performance, and time-to-market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Description Dragos is seeking an experienced, motivated, and creative Senior Product Manager to join the Product team building world-class ICS cybersecurity products. You will work closely with the product team, leadership, internal stakeholders, and customers to drive an effective product roadmap using product discovery, customer requests, internal requirements, use case validation, prioritization, definition, and execution for assigned products. Responsibilities - Own and evolve the product vision and strategy for the Delivery Management portion of the Dragos platform, encompassing both software and hardware, focused on OT/ICS environments. - Translate customer needs and market trends into a clear quarter-over-quarter Delivery Management roadmap. - Drive the development and management of core features and capabilities for this key product capability. - Engage directly with customers and customer-facing teams to discover and validate use cases, gather feedback, and iterate on product direction. - Represent Dragos’s perspective on OT Delivery Management to customers, analysts, and industry groups. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, clearly communicating solutions, costs, and business case justifications. - Make decisions regarding prioritization, trade-offs in features, timelines, resources, and quality, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Communicate product requirements with a clear business rationale to the Engineering teams. - Independently measure, track, and provide plans to improve product KPIs, which will drive process improvements and future product enhancements. - Support Sales with product insights for POCs, market analysis, and prioritizing future development efforts. - Play a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy and provide compelling narratives for successful launch activities. Qualifications - 5+ years of Product Management experience building or maintaining enterprise security products, ideally with experience in cybersecurity, delivery management, threat detection, endpoint security, or related security domains. - Extensive experience with cloud, DevOps, hardware appliances, and white-labeling hardware appliances. - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to extract valuable insights from complex data. - Proven experience in creating product requirements that enable users to derive value and build customers' confidence and trust. - Proven track record of delivering successful products, including developing go-to-market strategies, managing outcome-driven roadmaps, and backlog prioritization (desired). - Experience collaborating with cross-functional, distributed teams, including engineers and designers. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, executives, customers, and partners. - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a collaborative approach to team dynamics. - Willingness to travel (~10%) for customer meetings, conferences, or company events. - Direct experience with OT environments - either on the customer side or experience having built or supported an OT security-related product (a plus).
