Role Description Attain Talent is seeking a Business Development Representative - Staffing Solutions with a proven track record in selling staffing, recruitment, or talent placement services. In this role, you will identify and build relationships with businesses that can benefit from our recruiting solutions. You’ll spend your time prospecting, making introductory calls, visiting client sites, and delivering impactful presentations. This is a relationship-driven sales role where success comes from persistence, creativity, and collaboration with our recruiting team to deliver exceptional talent solutions. Key Responsibilities - New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships within target industries including commercial, non-profit, and higher education sectors. - Sales Strategy: Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence. - Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs and delivering tailored solutions. - Negotiation & Closing: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively. - Collaboration: Partner with recruiters to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements. - Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities. What You’ll Do - Prospect and generate new clients through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and industry events. - Pitch staffing solutions tailored to client needs: contract, direct hire, executive search, and advisory services. - Manage job orders and act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the hiring process. - Track openings, submissions, interviews, and placements using CRM/ATS systems. - Provide accurate weekly sales reports, KPIs, and forecast updates. Qualifications - 2–4 years in staffing or recruiting sales (must have experience selling staffing services). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven negotiation and closing abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Hunter mentality, results-driven, and highly motivated by targets and commissions. - Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Skills and Experience - Experience with IT staffing or technical roles. - Familiarity with ATS or CRM systems (Greenhouse, Salesforce, etc.). Key Competencies - Hunter mindset – proactive and persistent. - Strong relationship builder – consultative approach. - Results-driven – motivated by targets and commissions. - Organized and detail-oriented – able to manage multiple accounts and roles. - Fast learner – able to understand client needs and staffing strategies quickly.
