Role Description Course Editors play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our credit-recommended college courses. This project aims to enhance and update college-level courses to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid per hour. You will review and edit existing college-level course structure and materials in your subject area. This is expected to include tasks such as: - Evaluating and adjusting recommended updates to existing course structure - Reviewing course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment - Editing skill-oriented course sections and ensuring proper organization - Reviewing and refining response assignment prompts and rubrics - Evaluating existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy Qualifications - Master's degree or higher in Geography - Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting - Experience creating, updating or revising courses at a college or university level Requirements - Strong time management skills to meet due dates - Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed - Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables Benefits - Reliable Payments: You'll receive payments twice a month and automated invoicing for your work. - Remote Work: This is a fully online contracted work-from-home opportunity. - Flexibility: Basically, there are no requirements!
