Staff Accountant, Payables
Livefront
• Work under the leadership of the CFO to conduct and manage daily accounting tasks, including, but not exclusively, accounts payable, expenses payable, and the general ledger. • Manage company accounts payable, including vendor management, credit cards, and employee reimbursements. • Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting to internal stakeholders and team leads. • Assist with financial statement audits, including responding to request lists quickly and maintaining accounting files in a manner conducive to outside audit. • Assist with month-end close, including general ledger entries and reconciliations. • Assist with treasury needs, including check deposits, positive pay records, and reconciliations. • Manage data entry, filing, and associated tracking of Livefront assets. • Assist with documentation of policies and procedures, including regular maintenance and updates.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting role on a small team.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP standards and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience creating financial statements.
- Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms.
- High proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, and data analysis.
- Above average discipline, personal organization, and attention to detail.
- Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
- A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
- A self-evident love and care for the craft of finance and accounting.
