Sales and Marketing team is seeking an entrepreneurial, results oriented Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help shape our growing business. The Inside Sales Representative will report into the Sales Operations & Marketing division of Shermco. The position is mostly remote with 20% travel. It is preferred the ISR is located within the regional footprint desired. - Design, execute and analyze qualitative and quantitative data about customers, competitors, industry. - Research and analyze regional and branch target accounts for updates to projects, contacts, and plants/facilities. - Generate leads for Territory Account Managers within the region through drip marketing campaigns and project leads. - Leverage data to identify key customer insights. - Provide ongoing analysis, trends and ad hoc analysis for regional sales team. - Prepare written reports and presentations to management to ensure clear understanding of information and implications. - Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings, sales meetings and any other functions which would foster greater team challenges and goals. - Act as a secondary point of contact to customers. - Communicate and present critical data, report summaries, market analysis and strategic recommendations to all levels of management. Requirements - 1-2+ years of relevant experience in a finance, engineering, sales, marketing intelligence or strategy role. - Proven track record in analysis and insight. - Bachelors Degree in marketing, analytics, business or other related fields preferred. - Professional writing experience desirable. - Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint. - Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check. - All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
