You'll Get To: - Lead, mentor, and develop the Strategic Sourcing team to achieve departmental and company-wide goals. - Develop and execute global category strategies that optimize our supply base, categorizing suppliers (strategic, collaborative, transactional) to drive value in each spend category. - Drive value creation by executing sourcing initiatives and negotiating strategic agreements, focusing on total cost, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) using tools like RFPs, should-cost models, and advanced analytics. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment on all sourcing strategies. - Partner with leadership to manage and develop supplier relationships, enhancing cost-effectiveness, quality, service levels, risk management, sustainability, and innovation. - Manage ongoing supplier performance by setting objectives, tracking KPIs through scorecards, and leading joint improvement efforts. - Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate third-party supplier risks to ensure continuity of supply chain and services. - Leverage market insights, inflation mitigation techniques, and cost escalation/de-escalation agreements to forecast and secure market-competitive pricing. - Engage supplier innovation and AI capabilities to identify and deliver improved product and service offerings. - Partner with the Center of Excellence to develop and implement best-practice standards for processes, systems, data, and analytics. - Standardize key processes globally, including strategic sourcing, category strategy, and supplier performance management, leveraging AI and robotics for automation where possible. - Develop and implement a Strategic Sourcing Playbook to enable stakeholders globally to conduct sourcing activities for smaller, low-complexity initiatives.
