Job Description

Senior Data Analyst

Healthie

Our Mission We’re building infrastructure for modern healthcare delivery. Traditional healthcare is plagued with outdated, monolithic EHRs designed to maximize billing outcomes. Patient outcomes and provider experiences have been afterthoughts, as these systems have bolted on non-API-first solutions. None of this is built for how clinically excellent healthcare is actually delivered—longitudinally and collaboratively, with the patient at the center. Healthie is the world’s leading API-first, ONC-Certified EHR for healthcare delivery outside of the hospital. We provide the powerful infrastructure every scaling organization needs—EHR, scheduling, patient engagement, billing, and more—all accessible via modern APIs and a white-labeled UI. Our platform makes it simple for organizations of any size to launch, customize, and scale their care delivery models without reinventing the wheel. Today, over 2 billion API calls are made to Healthie every month, as thousands of organizations—working with more than 17 million patients in total—rely on Healthie to deliver clinically excellent healthcare in over 25 specialties, from preventative medicine to complex chronic care management. We believe in the power of technology to improve access to healthcare—and we’re building the rails that make this a reality. We work fast and with quality because we provide business-critical, healthcare-critical software that clinicians and patients need for a better healthcare system. We’re customer-obsessed, operate with lightning-fast processes and responses, make our product roadmap public so customers can see what we’re building, and remain relentlessly focused on how care gets delivered. Healthie is backed by leading investors, and while we've $42M raised to date, more importantly, we operate with fiscal responsibility and have been profitable for more than half of our time as a company. Learn more at https://www.gethealthie.com/ About the Role We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Engineering team within Customer Engineering. You’ll be the connective tissue between our data infrastructure and the people who need insights—from internal stakeholders making business decisions to customers using analytics directly within the Healthie platform. You’ll work alongside our analytics engineer to shape how data is surfaced and acted on. A major part of this role involves building customer-facing analytics products: semi-customizable reports and embedded dashboards within our no-code BI tool, plus self-serve reporting and data exports. As Healthie’s first dedicated data analyst, you’ll define what great analytics looks like here. What You’ll Do - Design and build semi-customizable reports and embedded dashboards in Healthie’s no-code BI tool that customers can configure and explore independently - Expand self-serve reporting and data export capabilities for customers - Define and maintain Healthie’s core metrics framework for our top level business metrics—product usage, engagement, retention, ARR, churn, and expansion - Conduct deep-dive analyses that answer strategic questions: what drives retention, where users drop off, which features correlate with expansion revenue - Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, RevOps, and Engineering to embed data into how we plan and prioritize - Own stakeholder management across competing priorities—proactively scope requests, set expectations, and ensure the highest-impact work gets done first - Establish data governance practices: define trusted metric definitions, document data sources, and champion data quality standards across the organization About You - 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or product analyst role, ideally in high-growth SaaS or platform environments - Expert-level SQL—complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization at scale - Strong experience with BI and visualization tools (Metabase preferred; Looker, Tableau, or similar also work!) - Experience building customer-facing or externally-consumed analytics products (embedded dashboards, self-serve reporting) - You think in metrics frameworks, not just ad hoc queries—you’ve defined KPIs and built the systems to track them - Proven ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities, scope analytical requests, and communicate tradeoffs clearly - Experience establishing or contributing to data governance—metric definitions, data dictionaries, and quality standards - Strong communicator who translates data into business narratives for executive, product, and GTM audiences - Mission-driven, passionate about healthcare, and motivated to build analytics that improve how care is delivered - Bonus: Snowflake, dbt, Python, GraphQL familiarity, or experience with healthcare data and HIPAA-compliant environments Details, Details - Full-time, remote position located in the United States - Base salary: $125,000 – $145,000 per year plus equity & company bonus, benefits - U.S. work authorization required; Healthie does not provide sponsorship Interview Process - Recruiter screen (15 minutes) - Hiring manager interview (30 minutes) - Take-home assessment (async) - Technical interview with Data Engineering team (1 hour) - Leadership interview (30 minutes) - Reference checks Learn more at gethealthie.com/careers Healthie participates in e-verify
