Role Description As a Fleet Performance Manager, you steer the LG Vertech fleet's health and profitability. Your role is the 'operational heartbeat' of the organization, sitting at the critical intersection of field operation, engineering, data science, and financial performance. You diagnose either major issues or fleet-wide inefficiencies, streamline the operating model, leverage process improvement, engineering, and predictive analytics to maximize uptime, enable repeatable project handover, and support sustainable fleet growth. By leading cross-functional efforts, you ensure the fleet remains a high-performing, resilient, and revenue-generating engine. Key Responsibilities: - Shape the roadmap to eliminate "nuisance faults" and preventable shutdowns by partnering with service engineers, product managers, the AEROS software team, and suppliers. - Identify and track high-impact components and operational inefficiencies to lead targeted cross-functional action plans that maximize fleet or sub-fleet uptime and deliver measurable ROI. - Collaborate with Business Analysts to develop and improve operational, executive dashboards and KPIs establishing a single ‘source of truth’ that tracks availability, efficiency, MTTR, MTBF, and degradation trends. - Coordinate development and deployment of standardized work instructions globally to ensure consistent service quality and reduce variability in repair times. - Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive down the overall cost of service including labor hours, part consumption, tooling, and ad hoc interventions. - Leverage digital solutions, including predictive maintenance tools and automated diagnostics, to move from reactive to proactive fleet management. - Orchestrate a structured cadence ranging from weekly operational to bi-monthly executive meetings to synthesize raw field data, performance indicators, and align cross-functional teams on reliability trends and financial metrics. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace) - 7–10 years of experience in O&M, Renewable Energy, Aircraft Maintenance, or BESS sectors - Strong analytical and diagnostic skills applied to technical system performance - Experience with continuous improvement and structured problem-solving (Lean, RCA, Six Sigma) - Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives with measurable outcomes - Strong communication, executive level presentation skills, project management, and change management capability - Must be willing and able to travel 10-20% mainly domestic (international occasionally) Requirements - M.S. Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems (preferred) - Experience managing fleet-level performance in renewable energy (Solar, BESS, Wind) - Familiarity with CMMS (IBM Maximo, Sofwrench), SCADA, data platforms (Snowflake, Power BI), and digital tools for maintenance operations - Ability to translate technical findings into business impact (cost, downtime, performance) - 10 years of relevant experience (preferred) - Advanced skills in root-cause analysis, FMEA, or reliability-centered maintenance - Fluency in both English and Korean (written and verbal) Core Competencies - Strong technical and analytical acumen - Leadership and cross-functional influence - Strategic thinking and prioritization - Excellent problem-solving discipline - Process-driven and continuous improvement mindset - Ability to communicate complex data in simple business terms - Customer-focused and cost-conscious outlook
