Role Description As an Account Executive at Resemble AI, you will own the full sales cycle for new business, working directly with prospects from first conversation through close. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned software seller who is comfortable selling technically sophisticated products and navigating multi-stakeholder deals. You’ll report directly to the Sales Director and work closely with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to help refine our ideal customer profile, shape our go-to-market motion, and help build a scalable sales process in a fast-moving, early-stage environment. You’ll partner closely with our BDR, who owns outbound prospecting and top-of-funnel pipeline generation, while you focus on running high-quality sales cycles from qualified meetings through close. This is not a “run the playbook” role; you’ll help us continue to define how we sell, who we sell to, and what resonates with buyers as we scale. What You’ll Do - Own full sales cycles from qualified meetings through close, including discovery, demos, technical validation, pricing, and negotiation. - Develop deep relationships with prospects and position yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding their business challenges and goals. - Lead consultative sales conversations with both technical and business stakeholders. - Run demo-forward sales processes that clearly articulate product value and real-world use cases. - Manage your pipeline and develop strategies for sustained revenue growth. - Educate prospects and customers on Resemble AI’s technical capabilities and value-driven benefits. - Become an expert in the product and common customer workflows. - Support expansion opportunities by building strong customer relationships and identifying additional use cases. - Collaborate with Product and Marketing to test messaging, positioning, and vertical use cases. - Share customer feedback, objections, and competitive insights with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and GTM strategy. Responsibilities - Close new business by running structured, high-quality sales cycles end-to-end. - Conduct strong discovery to uncover customer pain, technical requirements, and success criteria. - Deliver compelling product demos tailored to specific buyer needs. - Accurately forecast deals and maintain clean CRM data. - Identify patterns across deals to help refine ICP, qualification standards, and sales motion. - Contribute to building repeatable sales processes and best practices as the company scales. - Represent Resemble AI in a consistent, effective, and professional manner with prospects and customers. Requirements - 3-6+ years of experience in a closing sales role (mid-market or enterprise). - Proven experience owning full-cycle B2B SaaS sales processes. - Experience selling software to technical buyers (engineering, product, data, security, etc.). - Strong consultative selling, discovery, and demo skills. - Comfortable owning pricing discussions and negotiations. - Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable. - Comfortable working in early-stage environments where processes are still being built. Preferred Qualifications - Experience selling AI products, developer tools, or technically complex platforms. - Startup experience operating with ambiguity. - Familiarity with modern sales tools (CRM, sales engagement platforms, forecasting tools). - Experience partnering closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams. Location Remote-first with occasional onsite presence required for company events and gathers.
