The Opportunity We’re hiring a Senior Business Litigation Associate with a focus on partnership disputes and business divorces. This fully remote role is responsible for leading sophisticated commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution, developing and executing case strategies, and delivering practical, business-minded advocacy. You’ll work directly with founders, executives, and businesses navigating high-stakes disputes. This role is ideal for a trial-ready litigator who thrives on complex cases and is looking for the opportunity to help shape the growth of a dynamic boutique firm. What You'll Do - Serve as lead counsel on complex commercial litigation matters with a focus on partnership disputes and business divorces - Develop and execute case strategies from intake through resolution - Handle all stages of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and negotiations - Provide direct, strategic, and practical counsel to business clients - Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and contribute to firm growth - Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with clients, colleagues, and the courts Who You Are - Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with a strong track record in business disputes - Trial-ready, with experience trying at least 3 cases and conducting 30 or more substantive depositions - Skilled in motion practice, oral advocacy, and case strategy - Experienced in handling complex partnership disputes with strategic toughness and diplomacy - Licensed to practice in New York (admission in Florida is a plus) - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, with exceptional time management skills - Adept with technology and proficient in case management systems - Self-motivated and highly accountable, with a proven ability to drive matters forward independently - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Committed to delivering client-focused, business-minded legal solutions Why Join Us At PLG, you'll be part of a team that values clear communication, accountability, and professionalism.
