Job Description

Freelance Software Tester

Testlio

• Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work. • At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Delaware to join us in testing a popular wagering app. • We have partnered with a wagering app who regularly updates their product every two weeks. • This happens around 3:30 AM – 4 AM US local time, during low-traffic periods, which is why we are looking for testers who would be available during this time to perform smoke testing on iOS mobile, Android Mobile and Web. • Providing concise notes and evidence (screenshots / screen recordings if requested in the run). • Launching the product on your available platform(s). • Creating a consumer account on a wagering platform, which will include going through a KYC (know-your-customer) flow. Because this platform complies with US federal and state regulations, you will be required to use your own legal information to register. You should be prepared to provide: Full Legal Name and Date of Birth; Current US Address; Social Security Number (SSN). • Running through key wagering flows (for example: placing a wager, checking wager status, basic navigation, and other core actions defined in the run instructions). • Capturing and reporting any functional issues, crashes, obvious UI defects, or blocking problems in the wagering flow.

Job Requirements

  • Age: You have to be at least 18 years old.
  • Location: Must be physically located in Delaware.
  • Availability: You have to be available to test between 3:30 AM - 4:30 AM US local time for 30 to 1h.
  • Devices: You will need at least 2 of the following devices: iPhone, Android Phone, Laptop/Windows PC.
  • Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. We offer a preparatory course that will help you learn more about testing on our website.

Benefits

  • Schedule: You can create your schedule and work on other testing runs that interest you.
  • Location: Testlio is a 100% remote company. Seriously, you can work from the coffee shop, your home, or while waiting for class.
  • Growth: You’ll be testing global-scale mobile apps and have the chance to boost your skills and grow your career.
  • Payment: You are paid by the hour, not by the bug. This means you get paid even if you did not uncover any bugs.
