What You Will Own - Act as the strategic authority for QA, working closely with engineering leadership. - Turn QA into a structured, measurable, and scalable discipline. QA Strategy & Architecture - Perform a deep audit of the current QA setup. - Define a company-wide QA strategy (short, mid, long-term). - Design a robust test architecture (test pyramid, shift-left, regression strategy). - Define clear QA responsibilities between developers and QA. Test Infrastructure & Automation - Take ownership of existing Cypress and API test suites. - Expand and modernize the automated testing infrastructure. - Integrate tests deeply into CI/CD pipelines. - Improve coverage, reliability, and execution speed. Product Quality Ownership - Build and maintain a comprehensive test case portfolio. - Conduct exploratory and manual testing when necessary. - Introduce modern QA practices including AI-assisted testing. Engineering Collaboration - Help developers produce testable, high-quality code. - Establish testing standards and best practices across teams. - Improve QA visibility, metrics, and release confidence.
