Capital Project Controls Engineer
Solventum
• Creating, managing, and reporting on the Solventum corporate Engineering Capital Plan • Serving as a key liaison to the business • Guiding capital project estimating, funding requests, and project reporting • Developing and implementing Capital Project estimating standards and tools • Administering the Company Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) system • Coordinating capital project budget planning efforts and timing in conjunction with Finance • Reporting monthly on the capital portfolio performance • Managing the capital project approval process • Ensuring compliance with capital project governance and property and accounting requirements
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher AND six (6) years of project controls experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND eight (8) years of project controls experience
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND twelve (12) years of project controls experience
- Demonstratable Business and Financial Acumen experience
- Capital project estimating and cost controls experience
- Power BI and Data Visualization experience
- Proven ability to successfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
- Ability to operate at Strategic and Operational levels
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to drive for results while navigating ambiguity

Role Description The Market Development Engineer - Medical is responsible for driving new customer engagement, identifying emerging opportunities, and expanding market presence within key medical and healthcare segments. The engineer proactively drives material specification at OEMs, medical device manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and component molders.
