Role Description As the Regional Cyber Security Lead within EMD Electronics (EL) Cyber Security team, you will report directly to the Head of Cyber Program & Strategy Implementation Electronics. Your primary responsibility is to drive the EL Cyber Security strategy within a designated region, collaborating closely with local country cyber security managers in your team and the broader EMD (EL) organization, primarily at our manufacturing and R&D sites. You will support the implementation of organizational and technical measures to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance cyber security maturity. As an IT/OT cyber security single point of contact (SPOC), you will offer expert advice and support for projects and operations, while monitoring and managing cyber security risks and incidents according to the EL Cyber Security Operational Model. - Oversee regional cyber security operations. - Develop and implement cyber security processes and measures. - Conduct risk assessments. - Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in cyber security, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Design and maintain secure architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. • Implement guardrails and controls using services such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, and IAM. • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, configuration reviews, and remediation tracking for infrastructure and workloads. • Develop and enforce network segmentation, encryption, and key management policies. • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (Snyk, StackHawk, etc.). • Perform threat modeling, code reviews, and secure design reviews for microservices and APIs. • Support penetration testing and application security validation efforts. • Manage and enhance EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Cortex, Defender for Endpoint). • Implement and monitor identity security controls through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and PIM. • Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate responses with the SOC. • Support audits and evidence collection for HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and customer security assessments.
