Location: The Head of Global Equipment Quality is a remote role from US, Korea, or Taiwan with domestic and international travel required to meet business needs. Your role: The Head of Global Equipment Quality will oversee all Global Equipment Manufacturing and Product Quality activities, encompassing Site Quality and External Manufacturing Quality. This role serves as the primary escalation point and interface for all Equipment Quality and Delivery Systems Quality related issues. As a vital member of the Electronics Quality Leadership Team, you will collaborate with Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Clusters and Business Unit (BU) leadership teams to drive excellence in quality standards. You will also take ownership of the Equipment Quality roadmaps, key performance indicators (KPIs), management reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities: - Owner of the ISO Quality Management System for Equipment supporting the overall Quality program for Electronics. - Owner of overall Equipment internal, registrar, and customer audit management support. - Escalation point for the Equipment Disposition (Quality) Review Board process. - Ensure sufficient resources are deployed to lead the development of FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and ensure that Control Plans are maintained and aligned with business needs. - Ensure support of Equipment customer compliance requests including surveys, inquiries, action items, nonconformances, and audit feedback. - Drive Customer and Internal Nonconformance reductions though aggressive investigations, firm root cause identification, and effective corrective action establishment/implementation for all major Quality issues. Ensure continuous technical support is provided to the Business Units for all types of Quality issues. - Support Product Managers and Key Account Managers in response to customer requests and issues including new product qualifications. - Provide technical support to the business to ensure our product specifications are documented, reflect the material we offer for sale, and are fully executed by the manufacturing plants. - Support implementation of corrective actions for Quality issues including initiation of electronic management of change requests to documented procedures and processes. - Perform periodic reviews to assess the health and effectiveness of our Quality systems and update both technical and Quality related procedures. - Manage warranty budget and costs. Who You Are: Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or other technical disciplines with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality experience in a fast-paced time sensitive environment. - Experience managing an effective Quality Management System required. - Demonstrated experience with leadership and coaching teams. Preferred Qualifications: - ISO 9001 Internal Quality Auditor Certification (or equivalent) is preferred. - American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent credentials are preferred. - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus. - Chemical/equipment manufacturing and/or semiconductor experience preferred. - Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working in a collaborative environment. - Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple activities, projects, and priorities. - Demonstrated project management experience as a leader and contributor. - Confidence interacting with customers and senior internal leaders. - Strong hands-on knowledge of statistical process control, corrective action, problem solving, root cause analysis, continual improvement activities, and quality tools/techniques. - Demonstrated working knowledge of Quality Management Systems with experience in auditing. - Familiarity with control charts (SPC/SQC), FMEAs, management of change processes, and document control systems preferred. U.S. Pay Range for this position: $169,300 - $253,900 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
