• Support US-based clients with high-volume individual and business tax preparation • Work independently with minimal supervision • Prepare complex tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations • Collaborate with clients and provide tax-related advice • Handle client correspondence and tax notice resolution (IRS, FTB)

Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years of direct tax preparation experience
  • 300+ individual (Form 1040) returns prepared
  • 150+ business returns (Forms 1120 and 1065) prepared
  • Individual and business tax preparation (1040, 1120, 1065)
  • Workpapers, trial balances, and book-to-tax adjustments
  • Short-term and long-term rental activities, including Airbnb K-1s and proper flow-through treatment
  • Multi-state and SALT filings, including apportionment
  • Exposure to clients across real estate, retail, technology, professional services, restaurants, and hospitality
  • Proficiency in UltraTax CS and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
