Role Description As a Principal Analytics Consultant, you will: - Serve as the engagement lead on multi-month analytics consulting projects, overseeing end-to-end delivery while partnering closely with client stakeholders—from data owners and analytics users to C-level executives. - Lead consulting teams (typically 2–5 people) through complex delivery work, including analytics process automation, data platform modernization, and change enablement. - Drive successful enterprise migrations from legacy platforms to modern tools such as Sigma, Dataiku, and cloud-native analytics stacks. - Translate business objectives into delivery plans, and ensure technical solutions are aligned with client needs and scalable for long-term success. - Identify opportunities for expanded value creation, influence scope evolution, and contribute to strategic account growth. - Manage client relationships, identify and influence new business opportunities, and drive internal initiatives to improve the Data Analytics practice. - Use your expertise to lead the development of minimum viable products, building of production data applications, and/or implementation of large-scale strategic modernization initiatives to help clients optimize value from their BI analytics platform investments. - Consult on tools including Dataiku, Alteryx, Tableau, and Sigma. Depending on the needs of the client, you may also consult on SQL and Python and work with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, Azure as well as modern database technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks. - Become a trusted advisor working alongside our clients through periods of technical and organizational transformation. - Engage and lead multi-disciplinary teams to solve high-impact use cases across diverse industries. - Shape and manage client transformation programs, including change management advisory, tool adoption, capability enablement, and workflow redesign. - Own delivery timelines, technical quality, and stakeholder communication across your engagements. - Support internal initiatives that strengthen delivery operations and develop best practices across the practice. Develop relationships with internal and external departments in order to effectively resolve member concerns. Each complaint must be documented clearly, thoroughly, timely and accurately on HealthPartners Customer Service System in order to ensure accurate tracking, reporting and outcomes. ACCOUNTABILITIES: The consultant may be responsible for any of the following responsibilities: - Investigate member concern and ensure that all necessary documents are compiled, reviewed and presented to appropriate decision maker. - Research, understand and ensure compliance with all federal, state, Medicare and Medicaid regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Responsibilities also include ensuring HealthPartners policies match those of the appropriate regulatory agency. - Develop partnership with other areas such as legal, medical directors, medical policy, pharmacy, behavior health, government programs, etc., in order to work efficiently and effectively to resolve member concerns. - Communicate response to member or their authorized representatives and physician within internal and regulatory timeframes.
