AI Platform Engineer
NRC Health
• help build, stabilize, and evolve NRC Health’s production AI platform • play a hands-on role in transitioning AI capabilities from an external vendor to full internal ownership • partner with product engineering teams to enable safe, scalable, and governed AI-powered features • contribute directly to LLM-based application systems, platform reliability, and responsible AI implementation
Job Requirements
- 4 + years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems
- Hands-on experience developing or supporting LLM-based systems (e.g., RAG pipelines, orchestration layers, inference services)
- Familiarity with model lifecycle concepts, including evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and regression testing
- Experience building scalable backend or platform systems
- Experience working with AWS ecosystem
- Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on production reliability and operational excellence
