We are currently seeing a Transaction Manager to join our Transaction team for a client based out of Washington DC. This person would be part of a virtual team and as such, could be located throughout the United States. About Our Business: Our Transaction Advisory Services team helps clients evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. Working with local brokers, we assist clients by documenting the transactions necessary to conduct their business by negotiating with Landlord’s and brokers. It includes working with legal, insurance and the business units. Responsibilities: Our Virtual Transaction Manager works with our nonprofit client to source and negotiate lease transactions, sell properties, renew leases and overall conduct all real estate activities. They are a key member of a team dedicated to applying market knowledge and negotiation skills to effect the strategy. Transactors handle a geographic area or a specialized area with industrial, office, retail and related product types. - Independently manages and conducts all related activities on transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledge, while fostering client relationships. - Delivers measurable value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible renewal lease terms for the client and/or disposing of underutilized assets. - Excellent negotiating, analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational/planning and process skills required. - Obtain market data, review market reports, retain real estate broker partners nationally, oversee site selection and site evaluation, create requests for proposals (RFP’s), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and prepare business cases - Assist Client in completing a large number of transactions annually and independently execute lease and capital transactions of all types and sizes while adhering to JLL’s and the Client’s processes and standards for expertise and professionalism - Review Transaction related documents as part of due diligence process - Coordinate with Construction Management, Project Management and Portfolio Administration Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - 5+ years of relevant work experience · Good follow up and data tracking. · Ability to think strategically and act proactively. · Creates strong client trust and confidence. - Proven skills in contract review and lease negotiations - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills Knowledge of real estate leases is imperative. Estimated compensation for this position: 85,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
