Scope of the Role The Procure-to-Pay Operations Lead serves as the enterprise focal point for monitoring process performance, resolving complex invoice and payment issues, and driving continuous improvement across procure-to-pay operations. The role partners closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Timekeeping, Accounts Payable, and Treasury teams to ensure efficient end-to-end processing and accurate expense recognition. Key responsibilities include: - Identify and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies across the enterprise - Monitor procure-to-pay process performance and address operational bottlenecks - Review and approve subcontractor invoices processed in Costpoint - Implement procedures to support timely and accurate expense recognition, including period-end accruals - Drive operational improvements that enhance internal controls, efficiency, and financial transparency - Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement What Success Looks Like The successful candidate will establish a strong understanding of Nightwing’s procure-to-pay operations and develop effective working relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Timekeeping, Accounts Payable, and Treasury. By proactively identifying and addressing invoice and payment discrepancies, the individual will reduce processing delays and improve the overall reliability of the payment cycle. Success in this role will also involve improving visibility into procure-to-pay performance through enhanced monitoring and reporting, enabling leadership to more effectively identify risks and operational bottlenecks. Through close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the candidate will implement practical process improvements and internal controls that strengthen coordination, improve efficiency, and support the timely and accurate recognition of expenses across the enterprise. T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.3 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) modernization efforts: Site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, CAD, and other technical services as required. Maintains and updates subcontractors' files to include records of payment. Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and forwards subcontract files to storage. Ensures retention of hard copy of reports and claims for seven years. Serves as liaison between subcontractor and procurement personnel. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or related field) and typically 3+ years of related work experience involving typical procurement activities, including subcontracting. A working knowledge of subcontracting activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is required.
