Role Description The Director, Fleet Sales is a key front-end sales professional responsible for presenting Inspiration's full suite of fleet solutions — supporting both existing combustion engine vehicles and guiding fleets through the transition to electrification. This role draws on deep vehicle asset and fleet expertise to meet clients wherever they are on their journey: whether managing today's ICE vehicles, planning a phased transition, or accelerating toward a fully electric fleet. The Director will create and deliver clear, executable roadmaps focused on cost savings, transition feasibility, and structured financial solutions — ensuring every client has a partner for the full arc of their fleet's evolution. - Own the end-to-end direct sales process, from suspecting through closure, including qualification, pricing, and due diligence. - Develop and execute a targeted prospecting plan with a focus on the corporate segment. - Sell Inspiration’s full suite of fleet solutions; from optimizing existing ICE fleets to EV transition planning, vehicle procurement, leasing, EV fleet services, and charging solutions. - Engage with business and product development teams to help shape new products and surface insights on third-party offerings. - Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs, goals, and objectives. - Represent the Inspiration brand, mission, core values, and participate as an industry thought leader. Qualifications - 5+ years in B2B sales with a strong focus on corporate procurement, finance, and treasury functions at a Fleet Management Company. - Executive presence, strategic thinker, ability to sell to the C-Suite. - Adaptable, ability to adjust to rapidly shifting industry trends and pressures. - Corporate vehicle fleet experience, with an established network and relationships. - Experience with electric vehicles is a plus. - Working knowledge of CRM tools, specifically Salesforce. - Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - A self-starter who can mobilize resources and who works well both independently and across teams. - Genuine passion for Inspiration's mission to accelerate the electric vehicle transition and contribute to climate solutions. - Keeping Inspiration’s core values front of mind in daily decisions and interactions. - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or an analytics-based field.
