Role Description Goldberg Segalla LLP is a national civil litigation law firm with a diverse team of more than 500 attorneys across 23 offices in major metropolitan markets throughout the United States, providing strategic coverage wherever our clients do business. We are rapidly expanding our North Carolina offices and are seeking to add an experienced partner to join our team of trusted counselors serving public and private clients in the region. As part of our continued growth strategy, we are focused on expanding our footprint in South Carolina as well as North Carolina and the surrounding market. This position offers a fully remote work arrangement. Role Overview Kubicki Draper is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Complex Civil Litigation team in the Mobile, Alabama office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in General Liability and insurance defense. A Florida license is a plus!
• Represent insured individuals and the company in Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist arbitrations and litigation, as well as Bodily Injury (BI) and related insurance defense matters. • Handle time-sensitive Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist petitions and responsive pleadings, including filings required within statutory deadlines following notice. • Prepare for and conduct arbitrations, framed-issue hearings, examinations under oath (EUOs), mediations, and depositions. • Draft and present pre- and post-hearing motions, petitions, and legal memoranda with a strong emphasis on research and written advocacy. • Appear in court as needed, including conferences and hearings. • Collaborate with claims professionals, including participating in claim discussions and strategy calls related to Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist matters. • Manage a caseload that includes Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist matters and Bodily injury cases, with significant front-end legal analysis and preparation.
• Draft FCC license applications, comments, replies, petitions in application and rulemaking proceedings, and written materials for FCC meetings. • Summarize, analyze, and monitor regulatory filings and decisions. • Conduct legal research and perform cite‑ • Assist with regulatory compliance activities and due‑diligence reviews.
• The Contracts Manager, Research and Development Legal will be responsible for providing contract management to support clinical trials. • Review and negotiate Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), and Informed Consent Forms (ICFs), either directly or as escalated by Contract Research Organizations (CROs) • Identify and escalate contract terms to appropriate contract owners, attorneys, and other appropriate stakeholders, in a timely manner • Build strong working relationships with CRO contracting staff to facilitate quick contract executions and conflict resolutions ensuring efficient conduct of clinical trials • Track and drive contracts to execution, identifying remaining contracting issues, and convening meetings to drive efficient decision-making
