Field Service Engineer

SPT Labtech

• Scheduling and performing territory service work such as on-site installation and preventative maintenance. • Performing emergency service (territory) repair visits. • Providing remote telephone assistance. • Being available to travel at short notice in order to support other Field Service Engineers when needed. • Timely completion of all required documentation. • Communicating any product quality issues to the appropriate persons. • Working closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists. • Responsible for account management, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. • Obtaining and communicating leads, identifying post-instrument sales, upgrades, and consumables.

Job Requirements

  • Previous Experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems, ideally within the pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors.
  • Previous experience of working with Liquid Handling products would be advantageous.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to workload.
  • Education equivalent of at least an Associates degree or previous experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Highly organised with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.
  • Valid Passport
