Treatment will be provided in a telehealth format (e.g. from home). The mental health clinician will provide short-term psychotherapy across the continuum of care, including identifying eligible patients based on defined criteria, providing psychosocial assessment, developing and executing treatment in alliance with patient’s goals, and ultimately ending care with a firm discharge plan in place. This role will additionally be responsible for providing crisis support to clinic patients identified as needing urgent behavioral health needs and ensuring they are provided with and/or connected to the next appropriate level of care. The mental health clinician will work in collaboration with the behavioral health team as well as the primary care clinic’s multidisciplinary team including the patient’s primary care provider and clinic leadership. This is an open-rank faculty recruitment at either the Instructor, Senior Instructor, or Assistant Professor level. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
