Key Responsibilities - Global Merchandising Strategy - Develop and lead the global merchandising strategy across e-commerce, retail stores, and international markets. - Maintain strong awareness of fashion trends, cultural shifts, and evolving customer preferences. - Translate product roadmaps, trend intelligence, and performance data into cohesive assortment strategies. - Define SKU architecture, segmentation, and depth across categories and channels. - Build pricing frameworks and margin structures in collaboration with Finance, Buying and Product that support sustainable growth. - Assortment & Lifecycle Ownership - Own Product Lifecycle Management: Make final, data-driven decisions on style exits and carryovers based on sales performance and financial results. - Ensure the right product mix, depth, and timing across DTC, retail, and international distribution. - Develop channel-specific assortment strategies as the company expands globally. - Partner with Product Development to pressure-test line plans through data and market insights. - Guide seasonal and long-range assortment planning aligned to financial targets. - Data & Performance Leadership - Own global analysis of sell-through, margin performance, and inventory productivity. - Lead end-of-season reviews and in-season performance insights to inform future strategy. - Translate analytics into clear, actionable insights for Product, Creative, Marketing, and Executive teams. - Partner closely with Buying and Supply Chain to ensure inventory discipline and demand alignment. - Trend & Market Intelligence - Maintain strong awareness of consumer trends, cultural shifts, and competitive dynamics. - Apply trend insights through the Comfrt lens to inform merchandising strategies. - Identify category opportunities and whitespace within the market. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serve as a key strategic partner to Product Development, Design, Marketing, Planning, Retail, and Supply Chain. - Align merchandising strategy with marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling. - Provide data-driven insights that help inform product roadmap and category evolution. - Present merchandising strategies and performance insights to leadership. This role will also liaise with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance to ensure all operations, processes, and systems meet legal and regulatory requirements.
