Role Description Break Something is seeking a Deputy Content Director who’s ready to hit the ground running to raise money for Democratic candidates and organizations over email, SMS, and direct donate advertisements. Our ideal candidate is a senior digital professional with political experience who can capture the voice of diverse clients across multiple campaigns. Responsibilities include: - Articulating your vision for the digital program to the client in full, producing results, and functioning as the client lead, keeping the client updated on our progress. - Working with teams to develop and implement fundraising and engagement campaigns. - Managing content calendars and writing the majority of email, SMS/MMS, and direct-to-donate advertisement content, with production support. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to pivot quickly when priorities shift. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel at home owning both the strategy and the execution, we'd love to hear from you. Qualifications - 4+ years of digital experience minimum. - Experience leading teams for a reasonable-size campaign or organization. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including writing, planning, and executing tests and report results for online campaigns. - Experience as part of a team running direct response advertising programs with a focus on donations and email acquisition. - Proven results managing political CRMs (NGP, Action Kit, Nation Builder, etc). - Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and evenings, especially as we gear up for peak election times and experience high volumes with our clients. Requirements - Experience monitoring and maintaining email deliverability (Nice to Haves). - Background managing peer-to-peer rental programs (Nice to Haves). - Budget tracking experience (Nice to Haves).
