Payroll Assistant

• Assist with payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. • Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data for accuracy. • Support the administration of payroll deductions, benefits, and adjustments as needed. • Respond to basic payroll inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner. • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure employee data and compensation changes are correctly reflected in payroll. • Maintain organized payroll files and documentation for internal reference and audits. • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data entry tasks. • Follow established payroll procedures and contribute ideas to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or administrative roles with payroll exposure.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using payroll systems or HRIS platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Willingness to learn payroll regulations and internal processes.
- Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
